今回こちらでパフォーマンスした曲の中のひとつ。
2012年に制作した「日本の四季」という楽曲。
一日の中でも四季を感じられるというここVancouverで、 日本の四季をお届けできたらという思いでした。
映像の写真は、田川の郷里・山口県在住の
Masaru Hashimoto（橋本優さん）です。
この曲の演奏が決まったとき、
真っ先に「橋本さんの写真で、日本や山口の四季折々の美しい映像とともに使わせて頂けたら」と、写真の提供を相談してみましたところ、快諾して下さり、
曲に合わせてスライドショーとして編集させて頂きました。
膨大なアルバムの中から選ぶのが難しいほど美しい写真ばかりでした。
「こういう国から来ました🇯🇵
」ということを、音と映像のコラボレーションで表現することが出来、長い感動的な拍手とご感想を頂戴しました。
またひとつ思いを届けることが出来たのかなと思います。

I wanted to blend his music with Mr. Hashimoto's beautiful depiction of Yamaguchi’s changing seasons.
I requested his photos and carefully put them together into a slideshow synchronized with the music.
Looking through his massive collection, every single photo was so breathtakingly beautiful that narrowing them down was a wonderful challenge.
Through this collaboration of sound and imagery, we were able to show a glimpse of the beautiful country we call home.
We were blessed with a long, touching ovation and such heartfelt comments.
It feels ｌｉｋｅ we successfully sent another message straight from our hearts.
