散歩をしているとこんな看板が‼︎

この小川は、サケやマスの産卵や育つのを支えているそうで、
「私たちの資源を守りましょう」とカナダ政府が提唱しているようです。

カナダは水道水が飲める事にも驚きました。
浄水器も付いていないのに、確かに美味しかったです。

カナダの水道水は質、味と共に世界最高峰と言われているようで、
一般の人が絶対に立ち入れない広大な水源地が厳重に守られているからなんだそうです。

水源地のひとつが3枚目の写真から見えるキャピラノリバーなんだとか。

豊かな自然が残されているから、
人の心も豊かになるのかな～と
色々な面からリスペクトの気持ちが沸きました。

We came across this while going for a walk.
It looks like this stream is a vital habitat for salmon and trout to spawn and grow, and the Canadian government is encouraging everyone to protect this natural resource.

We were also surprised to find out that you can drink the tap water here in Canada！
Even without a water filter, it tasted really good!
Apparently, Canada’s tap water is considered among the best in the world for both quality and taste.
That's because they strictly protect their massive watersheds, which are completely off-limits to the public.

And one of those sources is actually the Capilano River, which you can see in the third photo.

Seeing how well they preserve their beautiful nature makes me think it must enrich people's hearts too.
I felt a deep sense of respect for this country in so many
ways 🇨🇦
